Between the Media Production and Post-Art

Nina Sosna
July 28, Wednesday
Lecture19:00

The work of the AES+F not only appear as an analysis of stereotypes of mass culture, but also fascinate with the use of new materials; such as multi-channel video installation, a synthesis of photos and 3D-graphics, a combination of young models, virtual weapons and imaginary desert landscapes and Photoshop and computer mythology.

Join us, as Nina Sosna examines whether this underground media is accessible for description, and discusses what problems the theory of media is facing. Media that can't be reduced to such forms of representation as theater or cinema, such technical facilities as the printing press or TV, or such symbolic practices as writing or depiction become the subject of the humanities and arts strategies.

Lecturer:

Nina Sosna, editor of the Philosophical Journal, historian of philosophy, author of articles of Hudozhestvennyi Journal
