Performance has been in a constant state of permeable change and transformation
for almost 100 years – transitioning from the “artist's trick” through the
avant-garde, to the art of twentieth century. In this lecture Elizaveta
Morozova, performance-maker, activist and researcher, will create a collective
image of performance, providing an outside perspective of it, as well as
introduce the basic approaches to the definition, classification, basic forms,
directions and principles of performance. Her lecture will be accompanied by a
display of photos and video documentation of the works discussed.
